5 Realistic Ways to Include God in Your Day

5 Realistic Ways to Include God in Your Day

With everything that’s been going on right now we barely have time for everyday tasks. Even though it may be hard it’s so important that we find the time to seek and connect with God. Here are some ways that I connect with Him even on my busiest days.

1. Listening to Worship Music

Worship music is a great way to fit in some quality time while completing other task. I usually turn on Spotify’s “Gospel Worship” playlist while cleaning, driving, working out, or meditating. Try actively focusing on the words and the meaning behind them.

2. Prayer

I know this seems like an obvious one, but I don’t mean kneeling beside the bed and reciting mama’s words. I mean walking and talking. Part of building a relationship is communication. Learn to talk to God like you’d talk to a friend. Randomly throughout the day for no other reason than because you love Him.

3. Yoga

Don’t ignore this one. I’ve found that yoga can be a very spiritual experience. I personally love to play worship music during yoga, recite scriptures, or prophesy over my life and my family. I also use the meditation portion as more prayer time or a time to sit still and allow God to speak to my heart.

4. Verse of the Day – The Bible App

The Bible App’s verse of the day is a quick and easy way to sneak in just a bit of time each day with God’s word. Read the verse and meditate on it as you go about your day.

5. Change Your Schedule

Let’s be serious if you want time you have to make time. Get up earlier, go to bed a little later, use your lunch break or shower time. Make the time for God if you expect Him to make time for you.
